Job Profile Summary Responsible for helping to develop, edit, and proof Advisors and other Marketing materials in conjunction with the Category Manager, Associate Category Manager and Marketing-Communications team. Also responsible for the day-to-day support of assigned categories including vendor contract rebates, discontinued items, supplier cost changes, and new product data entry

JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for tracking and the disposition of an on-hand inventory that is on hold, aging, obsolete, expiring or non-moving, ensuring that vendor credits are processed and reported to Finance and various reporting responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage new item data and existing item characteristics.
· Manage discontinued items and assist in finding replacements.
· Manage Sales Promotion & Zip Code Report processes for the assigned product categories.
· Manage and communicate supplier cost changes.
· Review all pricing variances.
· Manage supplier discounts and exception net costs for Don auto quotes.
· Implement and track promotions for Advisors, Hot Sheets, Supplier Expos, etc.
· Review in house contract rebates for vendor support opportunities.
· Assist Associate Category Manager and/or Category Manager and Marketing/Merchandising team with other projects as needed.
· Support product and supplier conversions by providing reporting.
· Responsible for the reporting of all spiffs, promotions, and contests keep Manager informed of issues within area of assigned responsibility.
· Escalate issues beyond scope of authority to appropriate parties.
· Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor Degree and one (1) year of applicable professional work experience OR High School Diploma or GED equivalent plus a minimum of four (4) years of applicable professional work experience.
Experience
1-year purchasing or inventory experience required
Skills
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Strong analytical, detail oriented, organizational skills and the ability to problem solve, multitask, prioritize and work independently. Excellent communication, and time management skills. Intermittent travel required based on the needs of the business.
