KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Required:
Bachelor's degreein Supply Chain, Operations, and Businesswith at least 2 years of priorsupply chain or quality controlexperienceORHigh School Diploma/equivalent with at least5years of priorsupply chain or quality control experience
Working knowledge of Info Builders, SAP System reports, Don Quotes, and Auto Quote.
Effective time management, prioritization,andcommunication skills.
Exceptional organizational and administrative skills; high attention to detail; and the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and carry them out independently.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel).
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Sales, Communications, Operations, Business, or related.
Experience with Microsoft Illustrator, intermediate to advancedproficiencyworking withSAPand experience in sales support within a distribution environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Coordinatelogisticsin regard tonew customerroll-outs, openings, and productroll-outswith both internal and external customers.
Attendall business review meetings withmulti unitcustomers (on/offpremise).
Ensurethat databases aremaintained,utilizedand updated to provide essential data to all Don Users.
Communicatedirectly withMulti-Unitcustomers to address questions, issues,quotesand contracts.
Communicatespecific multi-unit program details to internal departments as needed.
Makeoccasional sales calls andresearches/resolvescustomer issues and inquiries.
Preparequotes, NMR’s, cost-plus forms, contracts, customer Order Guides (in conjunction with Marketing Services), C/SC, price list maintenance and other forms or reports.
Requestliterature, samples, proofs of delivery from manufacturer.
Generatequotes on stock and non-stock items.
Assistin pre-pack check-ins, on-site at customer openings.
Resolvecredit issues with customers.
Use sales rep inventory/price list to match Don items,acquiresvendor contract pricing andsetsin-house contract price levels.
Prepare Sales Presentation book includingquotewith pricing and photos, Ed Don info, etc. for presentation to customer.
Work with Sales Rep and DSM to set Cost-Plus pricing levels, process through the Finance and New Accounts Departments to tie all units to the new class/subclass and price list.
Set-upnew accounts and vendors as needed.
Enter contracts, prepareNMR’sand follow through with vendors toexpeditenew product shipment.
Prepare Order Guides.
Work with Customer Service to set up don.com for all units.
Coordinate customerlogisticsfor opening pre-packs and deliveries.
Review and renew monthly vendorcontractand in-house contract expirations.
Initiate negotiation process with vendorsregardingprice increases / issues.Notify customers of price increases.
Research new vendor sources andset andmaintainin-house contracts on 8P items.
Create andmaintaina customer Stock Level Report using all 8P items and weekly usage items.
Review reports weekly to avoid outages.
Work with Buyers to alert them to low stock andconfirmsexpected arrival dates to increase stock levels where needed.
Usedatatracker to track various sales patterns.
Serve asliaisonto answer questions from Customer Service and customers.
Resolve special issuesregardingcustomer satisfaction (stock, pricing,transportationetc.).
Perform other duties as assigned.
