Job Summary:

Leads the design, standardization, and continuous improvement of global finance processes and the financial systems that enable them. Ensures alignment between process design and system configuration to deliver scalable, efficient, and compliant outcomes in partnership with Finance and Business Technology.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own the design, governance, and standardization of end to end global finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C)

  • Ensure financial systems, including Workday Financials and related platforms, are configured to effectively support standardized finance processes

  • Define and maintain process policies, controls, data standards, and KPIs to monitor efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance

  • Execute components of the Finance Transformation roadmap, including initiative prioritization, business case support, and value realization

  • Lead a portfolio of system enabled process improvement initiatives, ensuring delivery against defined milestones and outcomes

  • Govern system changes to minimize customization, manage complexity, and support long term sustainability and adoption

  • Partner closely with Finance, Business Technology, Global Support Center, BPO, and field teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions

  • Facilitate alignment across stakeholders on scope, milestones, and delivery outcomes

  • Lead and develop a small team supporting finance transformation, process design, and systems execution

Education Required:

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Education Preferred:

Master's degree or further professional designation

Experience Required:

A minimum of 10 years of related experience with a proven track record, including strategic support of senior executives aligning Technology, change management, workforce, and strategies with business priorities.

Experience Preferred:

Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders, manage competing agendas and priorities, and translate complex information across functions. Experience in transitioning work into centralized shared service organizations.

Technical Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes and their interaction with financial systems
  • Experience with ERP and financial platforms (e.g., Workday Financials and related systems)
  • Ability to bridge business and technology, translating requirements into scalable solutions
  • Experience leading finance transformation and system-enabled process improvement
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and translating it into clear, logical designs.
  • Effective networking within Sysco across a wide range of functions and working groups (e.g. BT, Tax, Legal, Risk, Procurement, Pricing, etc)
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills to all levels within our organization and 3rd parties (BBP and vendor).
