To lead a team to effectively manage credit risk, optimize collections, and minimize bad debt expense. To develop and implement credit and collections strategies, oversee daily operations, and collaborate with other departments to ensure timely payments and maintain positive customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of credit and collections professionals, including Supervisors, Seniors, and Associates, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Establish performance goals and metrics for the team, track progress, and provide regular feedback to ensure the team is meeting or exceeding expectations.
- Lead or participate in the implementation of new credit and collections systems or upgrades to existing systems, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption.
- Research and evaluate opportunities to automate credit and collections processes, such as using credit scoring models, automated payment reminders, or online payment portals.

Education
