Requirements Responsible for the storage and movement of materials and finished goods including: • Shipping and receiving. • Warehousing. • Order filling, picking, and packing. • Inventory control and records management. • Dispatch. • Developing transport schedules, methods, and routes. • Analyzing and projecting transportation costs. • Coordinating customs clearances and permits. • Maintaining, loading, packing and driving vehicles. • Evaluating, selecting, and managing ongoing relationships with external transport providers (e.g., fuel suppliers, trucking/shipping companies, etc.). • Acquiring and managing fleet vehicles.

Our Formula to Success is simple Base Pay + Incentives = SYMGA Top Dollars     JOB SUMMARY   This position serves our customers by hand-building pallets of products and loading products onto trailers according to established company and customer standards.   Pay rate: Up to $26.60 per hour   Production incentives for meeting metrics   The ability for you to be flexible with your schedule is preferred   Day Shift: Starts at 7AM, Sunday-Friday  4-day work week, Sunday-Friday Medical, Dental, Vision and company-paid life insurance becomes active the 1st of the month after 31-days of employment 401(k) with annual company match  Stock purchase option at 15% discount  Earn your way up the Seniority list   On Job Training, paid holidays, vacation time, and more! RESPONSIBILITIES:  Drive and utilize all company warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners) to select, pull, sort, and stack product, weighing an average of 45 lbs., within the warehouse and dock safely, according to company standards.   Work in a freezer and dry warehouse environment (freezer coats, hats, and gloves provided)  Handles products and build pallets according to established food safety procedures (e.g., visual inspection of the product for damages, proper placement on pallets to minimize cross-contamination and damage).  Ensures that the warehouse is maintained cleanly and safely according to company standards; takes appropriate corrective actions when a spill or damaged case is discovered; disposes of trash and recycling in proper receptacles.  Other duties as assigned by management.    QUALIFICATIONS:  Education  High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree  Experience  6 months of previous warehouse experience preferred; or equivalent physical work experience in place of a degree.  Professional Skills:   Knowledge of safe lifting procedures, and food safety guidelines.  Skill in building pallets of products quickly, accurately and safely.  Ability to: operate forklift and/or pallet jack and maneuver in tight areas.  Meet the minimum productivity levels established by the company.  Read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations.  Perform basic math functions (e.g., add, subtract, multiply, divide).  Solve problems.  Apply understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.  Wear personal protective equipment (e.g., safety shoes).  Physical Demand  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
