Requirements Responsible for the storage and movement of materials and finished goods including: • Shipping & Receiving • Warehousing • Order Filling, Picking, and Packing • Inventory Control & Records Management • Dispatch • Developing transport schedules, methods, and routes • Analyzing and projecting transportation costs • Coordinating customs clearances and permits • Maintaining, loading, packing and driving vehicles • Evaluating, selecting, and managing ongoing relationships with external transport providers (e.g., fuel suppliers, trucking/shipping companies, etc.) • Acquiring and managing fleet vehicles

Description

SUMMARY:

Assist management with the paperwork and clerical duties associated with running the night shift operation.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process outbound functions through the Pick Wave Monitor.
  • Operate the Pick Wave Monitor and prepare labels for shipping and loading.
  • Assign work to crew and give direction for loading process in conjunction with supervisor.
  • Provide direction and assignments to the workforce in conjunction with management.
  • Internal distribution dock auditing.
  • Perform computer input in reports daily.
  • Provide typing and filing assistance to overall operations areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Preferred:

  • Previous clerical and office experience.
  • Exceptional organizational and administrative skills; high attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and carry them out independently.


QUALIFICATIONS
Education
HSD or equivalent preferred

Experience
1-year of warehouse office experience preferred

Skills

  • Ability to operate a computer and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • AS400 experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and speak English.
  • Attention to detail required
  • The workload can vary significantly.
  • Associates in this department must have the flexibility to work shifts that may include long hours and have varying shift start and end times.
