SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE:
Plan and execute Supply Chain Transformation Workstreams supporting Sysco’s Recipe for Growth. Partner with Business Leads to facilitate project planning (defining objectives, scope, dependencies, cross-functional resource needs, and workplan) for multiple Workstreams focused on enterprise value delivery. Leverage tools and Sysco common methodology to manage daily Workstream progress, actively monitor and report risks, and facilitate critical decision making. Prepare and present updates and presentations to communicate Workstream status and health. Collaborate with Senior Manager Supply Chain Transformation, Business Leads, and Business Technology partners to develop innovative solutions to Supply Chain problems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and Execute Supply Chain Transformation Workstreams
Facilitate project planning for Supply Chain Transformation Workstreams (e.g. Order Capture, Fulfillment and Delivery, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Network Implementation, Technology Integration)
Collaborate with Sr. Managers & Business Leads to define Workstream objectives & scope
Leverage PM tool to document detailed work plans which identify process, sequences, dependencies, and resources to deliver Workstream objectives
Manage the daily progress of multiple workstreams and partner with Business Leads to drive project execution
Facilitate weekly Workstream huddles using PM tool to monitor cross-functional team progress
Collaborate with Business Lead to activity identify risks and create mitigation strategies
Ensure completeness and accuracy of action log and ensure key decisions are being made or escalated to Senior Manager or Business Sponsor
Actively monitor Workstream health and partner with Senior Manager to make recommendations for adjustments of people, process, and method as necessary
Communicate progress. Develop Workstream level updates and presentations to communicate approaches, priorities, progress, and highlight key decisions/risks to Business Sponsors and Functional Leaders. Skilled in verbal communications, presentation development, workshop planning, and meeting facilitation.
Innovate and Develop Solutions
Develop innovative solutions to supply chain problems that drive value and business benefit.
Partner with Sysco’s Technology team members to create and define supply chain technology solutions.
Best Practices Development
Contribute towards development of Supply Chain Transformation team knowledge and expertise as it relates to methodology, change management, tool utilization, and overall best practices.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree or related experience in lieu of education (e.g. supply chain, merchandising, wholesale distribution)
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration
REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
3 years of experience
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Business and/or technology consulting, project planning, process re-engineering, and systems integration
Direct experience in the end-to-end supply chain process (Procure to Pay; Operations; Facility Design and Optimization; Order to Cash; Mergers and Integration)
Demonstrated leadership experience on multiple cross-functional transformation projects
ABILITIES AND SKILLS:
Supply Chain
Supply chain experience in selected area(s) of expertise (e.g. Inventory Management, Inbound Transportation, Order Management, Order Fulfillment, Delivery, Network Optimization, Facility Design, Mergers & Acquisitions, Technology Integration)
Broad understanding of end-to-end supply chain and required integration with other functions (e.g. merchandising, sales, customer support, accounting, finance)

Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint

Strong skills in business measurement definition and tracking (e.g. KPIs)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Expertise in Microsoft Excel
