JOB SUMMARY
The Operations Lead provides leadership by managing a team of operational support personnel and duties associated with team leadership including but not limited to overseeing operations. The position will oversee a team of 2-5 direct reports and may be responsible for additional dedicated resources.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for managing the work and productivity of the team of operation
- Put away and replenishment
- Item demand/count checks
- Communicate any issues or suggestions to Supervisor
- Train and assess new employees and re-train as necessary
- Ensure all employees are performing duties accurately and efficiently
- Assist management with safety initiatives
- Assist management with other duties as needed
Education
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Marketing and/or Management in a corporate environment along with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
Skills
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and professional interactive skills are necessary to perform at a high degree of proficiency
- Ability to effectively write and present information/reports and respond to questions from suppliers, customers, management and inter-department staff
- Capable of working with internal staff from other departments in a proactive and constructive manner

- Experience with High jump/PeopleSoft, Voice Recognition and RF devices preferred
- Must be certified on warehouse equipment
- WMS (Warehouse Management System) experience preferred
