POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide customer service to operating companies and BSCC Departments on earned income program related issues, maintain and distribute accurate supplier agreements, process payments from suppliers to operating companies, maintain current cash receipts and any follow up work associated with this function.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure accurate operating company accruals of Earned Income with the proper set up of CE01 agreements by collecting and analyzing supplier program documentation to SUPC data queried on AS240A and Data Warehouse.
  • Publish Earned Income Guide on Sysco's Intranet for US and Canadian operating companies and Directs Guide for BSCC with correct Earned Income data using collected supplier program documentation.
  • Research and resolve all operating company earned income claims submitted in Lotus Notes, coordinating with suppliers and operating companies to ensure all earned income is received including responsibility for approving operating companies to deduct from suppliers.
  • Follow up with suppliers and BSCC departments to bring suppliers into reporting compliance (timeliness, invoice detail, rates and summary of gross sales and units).
  • Allocate Canadian and US dollar supplier payments, sales & units to the proper general ledger accounts in cash receipt system to provide dependable financial reporting to BSCC. This involves converting US and Canadian dollars.
  • Set up miscellaneous invoices on Accounts Receivable Trial balance and post payments accurately and timely.
  • Provide customer service to operating companies and BSCC Departments on supplier agreement and cash receipt related issues.
  • Work in a team environment in order to balance and close the fiscal month in an efficient manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent
  • One year of accounting and one year of customer service experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel at Basic and Intermediate levels required
  • Good understanding of all mathematical skills required to process supplier agreements
  • Basic accounting knowledge and terminology is required
  • Data entry experience with accurate 10-key by touch
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word
  • Well organized and able to handle large volume of work with minimal supervision; must be flexible to handle multiple priorities
  • High work standards and impeccable follow-up skills
  • Must have strong skills in customer service and decision making.
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Must maintain stable performance under pressure.
  • Must work well with others to achieve goals.
