Basic Job Concept: 

Coordinate all out going orders for the selectors and file quota sheets from prior day. This is an overnight position.

Director of Operations 

Transportation Department 

Purchasing Department 

Sales Department 



Educational Requirements: 

High School Diploma or equivalent. 


Experience Required: 

Prior experience in a fast paced warehouse environment preferred. 


Specific Responsibilities:  

Understand edit procedure, operate the phone system. 

Maintain existing customer base through effective customer service skills 

Input orders into computer system accurately and perform to specified company goals. 

Foster solid working relationships with other departments 

Maintain open communications with other account coordinators. 

Do Nightly Sales edits to increase customer fill ration and reduce key errors 

Generate and organize paper work and orders for the selectors. 

Assign routes and pre-pull assignments for the selectors. 

Files the quota sheets from prior day. 

Communicate any incoming issue with the orders to Sales. 

Communicate any add-ons or order changes to selectors and Fleet. 

Do daily production reports and turn into department managers. 

Advise the selectors, fleet or sales about any due in product.  

Communicate with sales any late trucks. 

Do weekly productivity reports. 

Coordinate daily functions with Lead and/or Manager. 

Perform any other assigned duties as requested. 

Provides service to will call and walk in customers.  

QC routes as requested. 

Monitors customer quality issues and communicates to selectors. 

Tracks daily order add-ons and turns in daily report.

Basic reading and writing skills. 

Have some knowledge of Word, Excel, or Outlook. 

Strong 10-key skills. 

Must be able to file, answer phones, and use a computer daily. 

Proven ability to communicate effectively in a positive manner, follow through on directions and organize effectively to satisfy the customers’ needs

Stand for periods of time, and walk from observation area to observation area to fulfill program schedule.

Specific vision abilities required to perform this job include close and distance vision, depth perception, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. 

Must exhibit a level of endurance, energy, and strength to successfully perform position. 

Must be able to withstand cooler temperatures down to 45 degrees for extended periods of time.  

Must be able to work in an outdoor environment in temperature ranges from 32 degrees F to 90 degrees F for extended periods of time.  


Work Environment: 

While performing the duties of this job, an associate regularly works near moving mechanical apparatus and is regularly exposed to vibration and moderate to high noise levels.  The work environment includes congested and high traffic areas, slippery floors, working alongside forklifts, single pallet jacks, electric walk behind jacks and hand carts.  Walking and working is done on concrete flooring.  Some duties are performed in the warehouse and will require work to be done in varying climates.  Temperatures range from zero in the coolers to 95 degrees Fahrenheit or above outdoors.  The shift end-time fluctuates with the employer’s daily needs.  The associate occasionally works in high and precarious places.
