Position Summary:

Responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Credit Department, supervising credit associates and pursuing late payments. Process credit applications, perform collections and maintain accurate customer information in the computer system.

Educational Requirements:

Two (2) years secondary education in an appropriate discipline, preferred.


Experience Required:

  1. Two (2) years intensive credit/collection work preferred.
  2. One (1) year supervisory experience.
  3. Two years AR/AP experience preferred.
  4. Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel) and 10-key.
  5. Detail oriented with solid communication skills with others.



  1. Approve payment plans and settlements
  2. Assist in preparing legal cases with Corporate attorney
  3. Approve or deny credit applications and customer terms.
  4. Give credit references on customers.
  5. Represent the company at Bankruptcy hearings, prepare documentation for the hearings.
  6. Verify audit requests and balances on customers.
  7. Enforce the corporate credit policy
  8. Responsible for monitoring all assigned Credit Accounts and assisting in rectifying any problem areas.
  9. Continuously monitor all accounts and assist associates with difficult accounts.
  10. Supervise Credit associates; train, motivate and lead the staff
  11. Prepare timely performance evaluations on staff
  12. Delegate accounts and projects to utilize manpower efficiently and effectively
  13. Attend monthly professional credit meetings to continuously develop knowledge in assigned duties and keep pace with the profession.
  14. Responsible for assuring the company is following state and federal regulations regarding collections.
  15. Perform other duties as requested by management.
