POSITION SUMMARY:

Executes duties and responsibilities required to analyze and resolve complex supplier disputes related to issues with Corporate and/or Operating Company supplier agreements.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs complex supplier agreement analysis for disputed items and summarize findings to make agreement corrections to improve supplier billing accuracy. Analysis and interpretation require an indepth knowledge of supplier agreements, cost, earned income, freight, and A/R procedures.
  • Address complex supplier disputes to include requests for repayment due to agreement, cost, earned income, or freight errors.
  • Colloborate with SBS internal teams, Corporate, Operating Companies and Suppliers to resolve supplier disputes related to agreement related bill backs and deductions
  • Monitor email queue to ensure escalated supplier inquiries are expeditied and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Work with the Dispute Analyst to generate and analyze various dispute analysis reports.
  • Assist with developing and leading training activities for both new associates and current team members.
  • Manage process improvement projects and other tasks as assigned by leadership.

 

Education and / or Experience:

Bachelor's Degree or High School diploma and 3 years related experience

 

Required Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance, or related discipline

 

Required Education:

3 years of Finance/Accounting, commercial contracts, and pricing experience

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with AS400 Legacy system, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and other accounting software is a plus
  • Foodservice industry experience preferred but not required
  • Finance/Accounting, commercial contracts, pricing experience a plus

 

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:

  • Understanding of basic accounting terms and functions
  • Experience with AS400 Legacy system, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and other accounting software is a plus
  • Intermediate to expert level knowledge of standard business software including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, One Note, and Visio helpful

  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written in order to articulate complex ideas and thoughts clearly
  • Ability to resolve complex problems and questions independently
  • Ability to work in a fast paced team environment and complete work with tight turnarounds and deadlines.
  • Attention to detail with impeccable follow-up skills a must
  • Performs well independently and in a team environment.
  • Effectively able to multitask and managing competing and/or shifting priorities
  • Motivated self starter with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and use of time effeciently and effectively
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Outlook & Excel
