The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity due to the recent reorganization of Guest Worldwide into three independent operating companies.  As the Global Brand Senior Manager for Manchester Mills, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the brand’s product and customer facing marketing strategy to further establish our reputation as the hospitality industry leader in textiles and create demand for our products with current and new customers.  You will partner closely with cross functional teams and manage outside agencies to meet critical timelines and drive results to grow our North America and international business.  This is the perfect opportunity for a self-motivated individual with an entrepreneurial spirit looking to grow both our business and their own professional development, as Guest Worldwide evolves its global presence.

Responsibilities

Develop brand marketing programs and global promotions to improve brand recognition worldwide.

Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies for existing or new product lines to increase sales and profitability.

Manage all marketing and brand driven activities and communications including presentations, promotions, PR, trade shows, and web marketing to meet goals and timelines.

Create, define and manage brand guidelines/assets and maintain brand quality standards with internal and external partners.  Establish, communicate and maintain brand architecture.

Work directly with the product development and innovation teams to translate product technology, features and benefits into sales team, distribution partner and/or customer facing product marketing, launch kits, and all other brand materials. 

Develop clear creative briefs for all marketing activities.  Copy writing, graphic design, photography, and overall creative direction to be executed by yourself, shared internal resources or outside support.

Coordinate and art direct all photography and visual assets for the brand in coordination with the Guest Worldwide shared creative services.  Order products, create shot list, provide visual go-bys, approvals, on site art direction if required.

Partner with shared creative services or outside agency on finalizing all creative development; own clear & timely communication to key stakeholders around key decisions, project milestones, and marketing plans, helping to keep every project organized and driving forward

Perform market research to identify consumer trends and competitive markets.  Recommend products or enhancements.  Identify new opportunities for growth

Manage and systematize the filing of all Manchester Mill’s trademarks and patents in collaboration with the Guest Worldwide legal team.  Communicate and update key partners as required.

Implement and maintain an organized and up to date shared location of all internal and external shared brand and marketing assets.

 

The Ideal Candidate

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business

6- 8 years professional experience in textile or like product marketing/communications, agency experience a plus

5+ years of content creation, copy writing, graphic design, art direction

Passionate about textiles, brand development and marketing

Strong team player and self-starter – collaborative, proactive and enthusiastic to drive teams to results

Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal and project management skills

Strong follow through with attention to detail

Ability to contribute creative, innovative ideas and solutions

Ability to think proactively, prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines

Naturally curious and inquisitive with a creative mindset and analytical ability

Exceptional and influential, written and oral communication skills with experience producing content for presentations and collateral

Copy writing experience as it relates to brand voice, marketing and content

Mastery of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel)

Mastery in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign
