The Digital Asset Coordinator will help build and maintain our ever- growing collection of images, artwork, collateral and multimedia pieces. The DAC is a critical component to our success as our organization continues to grow. This position is more than just a digital librarian ¬– it will be a strategic member of the team working on our platform that acts as our archive but also serves as a primary distribution channel to our internal clients and external vendors.


  • Organize and maintain large libraries of digital assets including, but not limited to images, digital production files, logos and other vector art, video, audio and digital reference files. Establishes and enforces consistency in folder structure, asset categorization, cataloging, naming structure, and metadata.
  • Creates documented processes for placing digital assets into the DAM system; provides training to stakeholders involved in the process, reporting in regular intervals on user adoption and general usage; develop and enforce processes for asset sharing (internal and external) and for asset removals/retiring
  • Leads any data and asset migration to OpenText, cleaning and mapping assets prior to inclusion; quality checks data post migration
  • Works closely with BT to configure and evolve workflows and integrations that align with Sysco marketing processes and for routine maintenance or escalation of system and database issues
  • Fosters relationships with key stakeholders and power users of DAM system; solicits feedback on system performance and functionality; analyzes feedback to find ways to improve functionality and adoption
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education and / or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3-5 years industry related experience

Professional Skills:

  • Understands Sysco brand standards, Sysco Market Image/GS1 Image requirements, and Sysco CMIM and SUPC structure
  • Expert knowledge of digital asset management systems
  • Experience managing digital assets through an Enterprise DAM System; OpenText platform experience a plus
  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office
  • Possess an understanding of usage rights
  • Experience working directly with business partners
  • Possess excellent communication skills – both face-to-face but also digitally across an enterprise of Associates
  • Extremely detail-orientated
