The Lead Engineer for Privilege Account Management (PAM) is responsible for designing, architecting, and delivering technical solutions in support of a global environment and its corresponding business requirements.  Additionally, the Lead Engineer provides the team with the technical direction and guidance required to ensure solutions are deployed and maintained in an appropriate and efficient manner.


Educational & Experience requirements:

  • 5+ years CyberArk experience implementing, developing and supporting Privilege Account Management (PAM) components and environment
  • Experienced at supporting large-scale, multi-tiered applications in a mission critical environment
  • Advanced understanding of controls and processes for management of privileged user, system, service, and shared accounts
  • Strong understanding of information security practices
  • Advanced understanding of user life cycle management and role-based access control
  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred

Description of Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the global system and user practices established for the PAM solution
  • Architect, develop, configure, maintain, and integrate PAM components as required to properly secure privileged accounts
  • Coach and train team to support solutions architected, configured and developed
  • Recommend, document, and socialize design of underlying technical solutions
  • Work with various technical teams to integrate necessary components for the PAM solution
  • Ensure appropriate review of issues are investigated thoroughly consolidating all necessary information and communicating root cause including resolution proposal
  • Define, implement and continuously adjust key metrics for monitoring and providing enterprise-grade system support
  • Ensure system error handling scenarios are identified and reported upon to the appropriate parties, facilitating alignment with SLAs
  • Contribute to the maintenance of PAM system configurations, policies, end-user services, system services, and reports
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues being encountered by end-users and foster a self-service support model
  • Develop and manage SSO implementations related to the PAM solution
  • Build and configure pro-active monitoring onto the PAM system for performance and availability collaborating with Infrastructure and support teams
  • Implement appropriate data classification controls, user groups, and roles within the system, addressing local privacy and data protection requirements
  • Support testing of PAM system enhancements and integrating with managed platforms and applications, resolving technical issues as appropriate
  • Coordinate PAM system upgrades and patches with the necessary Infrastructure teams to ensure the system is available and secure
  • Monitor PAM system actions are aligned with audit procedures regularly and for security and policy violations
  • Notify management of continued issues being introduced through current processes, or due to potential lack of clarity around appropriateness, resulting in inappropriate actions being taken by the team
  • Participate in information gathering sessions with business users, collecting requirements, and communicating the appropriate design to meet collected requirements to team members
  • Participate in cross-team design reviews, providing teams with guidance and direction based upon best practices for Sysco
  • Train team members on the appropriate means of dealing with specific requests and/or issues, from a technical, procedural, and communication perspective
  • Ensure that significant and/or questionable requests and/or issues are appropriately escalated to management
