The Sr. Quality Engineer drives E2E software quality in the agile team through establishing and promoting best-in-class quality engineering processes, standards and tools, as well as providing guidance to other QAs to improve the overall user experience



Leads the agile team in defining and driving the overall testing strategy and plan to ensure that product requirements are met

Provides strategic inputs to the TQA Team to develop automation test frameworks, tools and best practices

Drives effective automation of functional and non-functional tests by leveraging and extending testing frameworks as required

Create and execute performance test plan and strategy based on non-functional requirements

Manages and prioritizes defects and drives the team to resolve them

Acts as a key stakeholder in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives to update progress, and surface and resolve impediments

Provides mentorship to junior QAs through Community of Practice and other informal forums


Mandatory Experience

Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent

5-8 years experience in software testing & automation and/or performance load testing

Strong understanding of Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban & other agile frameworks

Advanced knowledge of Java, Javascript, or similar programming languages

Advanced knowledge of open source tools such as Selenium, Appium, Jenkins, and/or similar test automation tools

Advanced knowledge of performance testing and monitoring tools such as Jmeter, LoadRunner, Dynatrace



Demonstrated “agile-development” mindset with strong customer-focus & results-orientation

Ability to excel in a fast paced environment and adapt quickly to shifting priorities

Excellent communication skills to effectively manage key business stakeholder relationships

Highly proficient in teamwork and collaboration skills
