POSITION SUMMARY:

Leads content collection and deployment across various platforms, both internally and externally. Works cross-functionally, with suppliers, agencies, global entities, Specialty Companies, and Operating Companies to develop, acquire and administer rich and dynamic content elements (images, video, short video, social video, features and benefits, POS, and others) consistent with Sysco guidelines, methods, brand standards and regulatory requirements. Provides direction and support for other content needs. Directs or informs onsite third party contractors, agencies, and any internal teams, to assure consistent application of access and review for all assets in any digital asset management system (s) or content management system(s).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, develop and acquire content, in accordance with content timeline requirements and deadlines. Create the process for collecting content in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure that final content is checked for accuracy and compliance. Save content in appropriate systems. Track the performance of content.
  • Manage the content process: Seek out 3rd party vendors and execute or support contract negotiations for content creation and deployment. Processes should include use of DAM, content deployment methods and post-deployment metrics. Continuously drive improvement in the content processes and execution.
  • Develop, update and implement training & communication materials and courses for decentralized / local / other department content creation and deployment across platforms and sources / vendors. Become and embody the expert of Sysco content creation, deployment, measurement and housing. Maintain and enhance a 12 month rolling digital content calendar that unifies content themes for the enterprise. Ensure active use of the calendar by enterprise.
  • Manage the design, functionality and application of the content and asset management portals, where relevant to the Marketing team(s). Establish and track content performance metrics. Constantly evaluate user experience and customer touch points, recommending execution enhancements.
  • Direct vendors, agencies and any other parties, internal or external, that touch content. Resolve system issues. Identify and address content performance gaps and opportunities.
  • Identify sources of content that do not meet corporate standards and correct. Train others for compliance. Perform other duties as assigned

Education and / or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with preferred major in marketing, foodservice or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of recent experience in the field of food service or consumer product goods in the areas of digital asset management, image and content creation, deployment metrics and/or digital training.
  • Experience leading and working with cross-functional teams, agencies, contractors and consultants. Relate-able foodservice experience acceptable.

Professional Skills:

  • Read, write, analyze and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of databases preferred
  • Able to schedule, assign and maintain projects and tasks using online task management tool.
  • Work in a team or matrix environment and collaborate to achieve business goals.
  • Previous experience with command line interface for product verification preferred.
  • Creative; ability to critique creative design, inform creative design, including static and dynamic pieces.
  • Good mathematical skills. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, discounts and proportions
