Requirements Responsible for managing or performing work across multiple supply chain sub-families or develop/implement strategies that optimize the supply chain process. Planning addresses capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals and includes customer inventory planning, cargo planning, and strategies to improve logistics service center operations.
Description JOB SUMMARY The Inbound Clerk is responsible for ensuring the quantity and quality verification of received products. The Inbound Clerk also provides data input for all receiving functions and communication. The Receiving Clerk is responsible for timely and accurate receipt and discrepancy communication of produce, grocery and misc. items received. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects. Receives P.O.s in AS400 to include discrepancy resolution/communication, rejection/protection requests, and quantity adjustments. Assists in physical receiving practices to include: Physically inspects the product for weight, condition, temperature, and quality also tagging all product with a slot label and places it in the correct slot location. Schedule appointments to receive incoming trucks. Handle walk-in customers. Assist with inventory as needed. Assist with third party audit preparation. Performs special projects as assigned by the Receiving Manager. QUALIFICATIONS Education High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience One year receiving, warehouse, transportation, or logistics experience Skills Type and proficiency Minimum Required: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Effective written & oral communication skills Decision making Authority Most important decisions made fully independently: Prioritizing workload throughout a variety of responsibilities. Most important decisions made with review and approval of other individuals or supervisors (include the reviews/approvals required): Rejection/protection recommendation
