Job Profile Summary The HRIS Sr Analyst, is a subject matter expert consulting with HR stakeholders on all Workday modules currently in scope at Sysco (HCM, Performance, Talent Management, Learning, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, & Payroll) As an HRIS analyst, you will be an integral part of our HR Service Delivery team, working with Sr Analysts, Team Leaders and managers to uphold governance processes, identify and document requirements, architect solutions, communicate with stakeholders, participate in system testing and drive completion of initiatives, making sure overall usability of the system and its downstream dependencies are reliable. Summary:

The Senior HRIS  Analyst partners closely with the Global HRIS Manager (Total Rewards), cross-functional HRIS teams, and external vendors to support and enhance the organization’s benefits administration processes. This role will be responsible for leveraging Workday expertise, driving process improvements, and ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient benefit operations for both union and non-union populations across multiple states.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) in Workday Benefits, including configuration, business processes, and data flow into vendor integrations.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex benefits-related issues within Workday and integrations; provide forward-thinking solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Document and maintain business processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform audits and data validations to ensure compliance, accuracy, and integrity of health, welfare, and retirement plan data.
  • Partner with Benefits, Payroll, HR, and external vendors to streamline processes, resolve issues, and optimize system functionality.
  • Collaborate with the business to understand requirements, recommend solutions, and support ongoing and new benefit initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and support on benefit programs for union and non-union colleagues, ensuring compliance with regulations across multiple states.
  • Support annual processes such as Open Enrollment, year-end activities, and new plan implementations.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to better support colleagues and HR stakeholders.

  • Have an in-depth understanding of business processes related to specific areas of Workday, including understanding of end-to-end Workday integration points

  • Strong ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and proactively drive changes that create process efficiencies or improve user experience.

  • Proven time management and prioritization skills to make efficient, logical decisions in a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities.

  • Proven experience establishing strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, utilizing clear and effective communication and documentation skills

REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

  • 4+ years of experience in HRIS/Benefits, with at least 3 years hands-on Workday Benefits configuration and/or integration knowledge.
  • Self-motivated, organized and capable of proactively identifying, sourcing, and handling multiple projects to successful completion
  • Strong computer skills: proficient with MS Outlook, Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues

  • Experience working in a global company, preferred

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION:

  • Associate’s degree in related discipline or an additional 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
